The crown is the concrete cap at the top of the chimney; the flashing is the metal that seals the joint where the chimney meets the roof. When either fails, water runs straight into the masonry and your home.
Elite Construction repairs and rebuilds cracked crowns and replaces failed flashing — one of the most common sources of roof leaks we see.

Diagnose
We determine whether the crown, flashing, masonry or a combination is the issue.

04
Seal & check
Joints sealed and the work inspected.
Things to consider
Tar or caulk over bad flashing is a temporary patch — proper flashing is integrated with the roofing.
Doing flashing during a roof replacement is often the most cost-effective time.
